What can I expect?

This event is a great way to experience Ontario craft beer and cideries, whether you’re a seasoned sipper or interested in expanding your palette/knowledge.

The Small Arms Inspection Building is a City-owned 1940’s building that is mid-restoration after being rescued from the wrecking ball by our community. The space has a unique feel, with massive windows and a skylight running nearly end to end.

Is there an age restriction on the event?

This is a licensed event so all attendees must be 19 years or older (the age of majority). Please bring valid ID with you on the day of the event.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

The Small Arms Inspection Building is located at 1352 Lakeshore Road East, on the south side, at Dixie Road. There is plenty of free car parking available on the site and in the area.

Please plan to drink responsibly and consider alternative transportation, including taxi service, ride-sharing or public transit, to make your experience more enjoyable. There is continuous MiWay bus transit using Route 23 along Lakeshore Road East connecting to the Long Branch GO Train station and TTC on the east (approximately 1 km) and to all points along Lakeshore to Port Credit and Clarkson.

What can/can't I bring to the event?

Please do not bring alcohol or outside food to the event. There will be craft beer and cider locations for sampling and purchase, non-alcoholic beverages, in addition to a variety of food vendors.

Is my ticket transferable?

Tickets are transferable, but your receipt is required as proof of your purchase.

Are any profits made going to a good cause?

Mississauga Creative Craft Beer Festival is presented by CreativeHub1352 (formerly the Small Arms Society), an incorporated non-profit organization. Our goal is to celebrate creativity and to continue our role in helping to define and promote the community vision for this important space. We saved this building from dereliction and now we must provide resources to help the community shape it as a place of significance for generations to come. That takes time, dedication and money.

This Festival is run by volunteers with financial support from our wonderful sponsors. We have done our utmost to keep the costs down and your ticket price low. Please buy a ticket and bring your friends, too!

Are ticket sales and space limited?

While the Small Arms Inspection Building is a large space, capacity constraints means that only a limited number of tickets will be made available for each of the three sessions. We urge you to buy now to avoid disappointment!

Is the Mississauga Creative Craft Beer Festival accessible?

Yes. The main exhibition space and all public facilities are barrier-free and include gender neutral washrooms.

As in any private or public building, it is a smoke-free and vape-free environment.

Please note that this is not an Allergen-free event/venue.
