The Living Arts Centre presents: Visual Voices - Through Our Eyes exhibition

The elementary teachers of Peel invite you to consider how individuals express what they see. What do our youth have to say? Discover the world as seen through the eyes of Peel's Elementary Students in Visual Voices .This exhibition features a wide range of artistic media as
students creatively “voice” their ideas, observations and experiences. This showcase will act as an important tool for educating students and patrons on the fundamentals of visual literacy while supporting the artistic development and voice of an emerging generation.

Visual Voices – Through Our Eyes runs from Tuesday May 30 – Thursday June 22, 2017 in the Living Arts Centre Gallery. An opening reception will be held on Thursday, June 1 from 7 - 9 pm. A selection of works will be showcased in the Centre’s Gallery Studio and Esso Kidspace Studio from September 2017 – June 2018 to support curriculum-connected programming.
This exhibition has been supported by the Peel District School Board.

Admission is free and all are welcome!

The Gallery is located on the second floor of the Living Arts Centre. Gallery hours are Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Sunday from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
Living Arts Centre is located at 4141 Living Arts Drive, immediately west of Square One Shopping Centre at Highways 403 and 10.
Free underground parking is available weekdays after 6 p.m. and on weekends.
