Modern Mississauga and the City of Mississauga have come together to present an ongoing series called “Ask the City.”

We’ll share relevant information here and answer your questions about our city.

Today’s question is about birthday certificates.

My grandma’s 100th birthday is coming up soon. Is there a certificate I can request for her?

Mississauga residents celebrating milestone birthdays and anniversaries can request a certificate on behalf of Mayor Crombie and Members of Council.

Certificates are available for:

·         Birthdays: 90th, 95th, 100th and 105th

·         Anniversaries: 50th, 55th, 60th, 65th and 70th

Residents can request a certificate online here or by calling 3-1-1.

Four weeks notice is required to have the certificate prepared.

Once prepared, the certificate will be mailed directly to you or the recipient specified on the form.
