[PRESENTED BY WINERIES OF NIAGARA-ON-THE-LAKE]
The New Year is upon us, and while the Holiday season is over, the celebratory atmosphere continues in Niagara-on-the-Lake. In January we shine the spotlight on the sweet nectar we like to call Niagara’s ‘liquid gold’. This is a very special time of year in Niagara-on-the-Lake, as historic Queen Street is transformed into a winter wonderland and the town comes together for the Annual Icewine celebration.
The Original Icewine Festival was established 24 years ago in Niagara-on-the-Lake and each year it offers visitors a unique icewine-centric experience – from the charming outdoor Icewine Village where visitors can sample delicious icewines from over 20 members of Wineries of Niagara-on-the-Lake, to icewine-inspired chef pairings, amazing galas and more. So instead of a tropical escape, plan a getaway to charming Niagara-on-the-Lake during this magical time of year and embrace all that winter has to offer. Immerse yourself in the wonderful world of Icewine, this precious liquid that has put Niagara-on-the-Lake on the International wine map years ago and continues to garner world attention and win numerous awards.
