The Mississauga Symphony Orchestra presents "On Broadway!"

Calling all Broadway fans! Join the Mississauga Symphony Orchestra inside the Living Arts Centre on Saturday, April 27 for On Broadway!, a thrilling evening of bright lights and show tunes in tribute to the heart and soul of musical theatre. On Broadway! will feature the MSO and voices in popular Broadway hits including: Candide, The Sound of Music, Les Misérables, Phantom of the Opera, Cats and Evita. Also included in the event will be an enticing silent auction in support of the MSO, Canada’s leading hybrid orchestra.

Proceeds generated from the concert and silent auction will be used to support each MSO concert season, fund the rapidly expanding Mississauga Symphony Youth Orchestra, and assist with ambitious projects like fully-staged opera. Prizes for the silent auction have been generously donated by festivals, arts organizations and businesses such as: Stratford Festival, Canadian Opera Company, Scadinave Spa, Shaw Festival, Adventure Canada, The Body Shop, Erin Mills Town Centre, and a number of local retailers.

The MSO is designated as one of Mississauga’s six pillars of arts, culture and heritage. The orchestra offers entertaining and increasingly sophisticated programs from the classic and popular repertoires of symphonic music, all performed to the highest artistic standards. Based out of Hammerson Hall, a world-class theatre located within the Living Arts Centre, the MSO provides performance opportunities and personal development to talented amateurs while combining the strands of excellence and education by assisting young professional performers and composers through solo performance opportunities, commissions and mentoring.
