Holiday Valley breathed a huge sigh of relief on November 8th when the US border was reopened to Canadians. “Since March of 2020 we have been missing our Canadian friends, “said Dennis Eshbaugh, President of Holiday Valley. “Ever since the 1950’s when Ellicottville skiers would make their annual trek to Mont Saint-Sauveur in Quebec, Canadians have been important to the culture of Holiday Valley and Ellicottville. We are so glad to have the border reopened!”

If you’re a frequent Holiday Valley visitor you’ll see many new improvements. We’ve just finished building the new Yodeler Express, a high speed quad that replaces the fixed grip quad. Ego Alley has been improved and Ego Glades were expanded. The new lift is a super smooth and quick ride, yet it is so much easier to load and unload.

But if you’ve never been to this wonderful place that’s just an hour south of the Peace Bridge you will find an authentic village and a resort that welcomes you. The resort’s 60 slopes and 13 lifts are spread over four different mountain faces with pockets of interesting terrain hidden throughout. Four glades range in challenge from mild to wild. Kid-size moguls are on the moderately pitched Morning Star Slope and grownup sized moguls are found on Chute and Foxfire. Five terrain parks fill the need for air and tricks. And the Holiday Valley Tubing Park and Mountain Coaster are fun activities for all.

The Tamarack Club and the Inn at Holiday Valley offer slopeside access, indoor/outdoor heated pools, and hot tubs. Slope side and nearby condominiums have additional bedrooms and kitchens. Weekday lift and lodging packages include free lift tickets for up to two children.
