Learn About Mississauga's YES MA’AM: Yes to Midlife, Yes to Aging, Yes to Menopause Event

A new kind of women’s event is coming to Mississauga and it’s not about fixing, hiding, or “aging gracefully.”

YES MA’AM: Yes to Midlife, Yes to Aging, Yes to Menopause is a one-day live experience created for women who are done whispering about getting older and ready to talk about it out loud. The event takes place Saturday, March 1, 2026, at the Mississauga Grand Banquet & Event Centre, bringing together women for a powerful day of conversation, laughter, and connection.

Co-hosted by Mississauga’s Gaby Mammone, founder of Kind Projects, and Helen Xenidis, founder of Once Upon A Woman - Her Story, YES MA’AM creates space for honest conversations about aging, identity, menopause, relationships, health, reinvention, and everything in between.

This is a space to ask real questions, hear expert answers, and feel less alone.

“Women should be in this room because it’s one of the few places where they can ask real questions about midlife, aging, and menopause without fear of judgment. YES MA’AM creates a safe space to be curious, honest, and heard, and to receive expert insight that helps women feel informed, confident, and supported in this stage of life.”

Gaby Mammone, Co-Host & Founder, Kind Projects

“This isn’t a conference where someone tells you what to do with your life,” says Xenidis. “It’s a room full of women saying, ‘Oh, you too?’ There’s relief in that. There’s power in that.”

The day will feature:

  • Expert speakers across health, wellness, finance, communication, and personal growth

  • A live panel discussion

  • An interactive session designed to engage and reflect

  • Time to connect, eat, laugh, and shop women-owned businesses

  • Conversations that are relatable, insightful, and refreshingly real

Speakers include leaders and experts across wellness, health, finance, communication, and personal growth, each bringing lived experience and practical insight to the stage. The speaker lineup includes:

Nkechi Nwafor-Robinson, senior technology executive, former professional bodybuilder, investor, and founder of Empowered in My Skin, opening the day with a powerful message on presence, discipline, and self-leadership.

Jennifer Maxwell, Professional Uplifter, DISC communication expert, and founder of On The Rack, leading an interactive session focused on confidence, communication, and self-awareness.

Suzanne Colmer, founder of Your Shop Girl, sharing a grounded approach to confidence through personal alignment and style.

Dr. Mary Marano, psychotherapist, relationship strategist, and founder of Life and Family Counselling Services, bringing compassion and insight to conversations around connection and emotional wellbeing.

Shalini Dharna Kibsey, CPA, financial advisor, and creator of Money Moves, helping women rethink their relationship with money with clarity and confidence.

Nancy DeFilippis, founder of With Godspeed, offering a realistic and sustainable approach to wellness that fits real life.

Dr. Doriana Parkin, medical professional and mother of three, supporting women in making sustainable health choices rooted in self-worth, not perfection.

YES MA’AM is designed for women who are curious about what’s next and honest about where they are now. It welcomes women in midlife, women approaching it, and women who simply want to age with clarity instead of apology.
