Frog in Hand is launching its Summer 2026 season with a series of performances, community events, and public programming running from May through August across Mississauga and the GTA.

“Across this season, we’re focused on meeting audiences where they are—whether that’s in a library, a park, or a shared community space,” said Colleen Snell, Artistic Director of Frog in Hand. “These works are designed to be accessible, participatory, and reflective of our communities.”

Anchored by a new home at the Unitarian Congregation of Mississauga (UCM), the season expands the company’s work in site-specific performance and community engagement, bringing contemporary dance into libraries, festivals, and public spaces.

“Welcoming Frog in Hand into our space is about more than hosting performances—it’s about activating a shared environment where art, community, spirituality, and everyday life intersect,” said Wendy Shusterman, Rental Chair of Unitarian Congregation of Mississauga. “This kind of programming brings new energy into the space and invites people to experience it in a completely different way.”

The summer lineup includes both free and ticketed programming—with flexible pricing options including pay-what-you-can, sliding scale, and student/art worker rates—designed to engage audiences of all ages:
