Experience Electric Vehicles for free at Plug'n Drive's 2026 Cross-Canada Tour

Here’s how RBC is helping Canadians explore electric vehicle adoption through education, awareness and practical tools that help address common questions.

For the second consecutive year, RBC is the Champion Sponsor for Plug’n Drive’s EV’s are for EVeryone Cross-Canada Tour.
Running year round, this educational tour features the Electric Vehicle Discovery Centre in Toronto, EV Roadshows in 10 provinces, and Mobile EV Education Trailers (MEETs) in 10 communities across four provinces. It provides Canadians with hands-on opportunities to compare multiple electric vehicle (EV) models in one place, ask questions and learn from EV experts.

Championed by RBC, this gives Canadians the opportunity to learn about and test drive EVs in an approachable, pressure-free environment.

The tour runs from April to November in ten cities across Western and Eastern Canada. MEETs will be in each location for approximately one month to provide local communities with access to EV information and test drives.

As Champion Sponsor, RBC is helping Canadians test drive EVs and access information in communities, including smaller and underserved regions.

Participants at each MEET will also have the opportunity to enter the RBC Avion Points Contest, where visitors can enter for a chance to win 250,000 RBC Avion points. There will be two winners (one in Eastern Canada and one in Western Canada.)

In addition to supporting awareness initiatives, RBC has tools and resources designed to help consumers better understand the financial side of EV ownership, including EV financing solutions and digital tools.
One practical tool includes RBC’s Electric Car Cost Calculator, which compares costs and explore what an EV transition could look like for them, as everyone has a different lifestyle.
