Learn About National Indigenous Peoples Day 2025 in Mississauga

On Saturday, June 21st, 2025, celebrate the richness of Indigenous music, culture and tradition at the fourth annual National Indigenous Peoples Day at Mississauga Celebration Square, presented in partnership with the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, hosted by Kairyn Potts.

Our community is invited to come together for an inspiring evening filled with vibrant Indigenous music and artistic expressions that honour the unique culture of Indigenous Peoples as part of this free event.

Some of the most dynamic Indigenous voices in Canada take the saugaLIVE Stage for an evening of powerful music and storytelling. From traditional hand drumming to genre-blending throat singing, this lineup will move you – mind, body and spirit. Returning favourites and new voices come together for a memorable event.

The free event runs from 5 to 9 p.m., with a ceremony starting at 5:15 p.m.
