Canada Day in Port Credit Returns on July 1, 2026

The Port Credit BIA is pleased to announce the return of Canada Day #INThePort, Mississauga's largest Canada Day street festival, taking place on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, in the heart of Port Credit.

This free, family-friendly celebration will transform Lakeshore Road into a vibrant festival destination featuring live entertainment, a 40-foot Ferris wheel, amusement rides and games, family activities, local vendors, food experiences, live music, and the highly anticipated return of the Canada Day Parade.

The day will conclude with a spectacular fireworks display over Lake Ontario.

The Port Credit BIA is also excited to welcome Suzie McNeil as the headline performer for the 2026 celebration.

The Port Credit BIA would like to thank its Canada Day #INThePort partners, including Visit Mississauga, the City of Mississauga, and the Port Credit Community Foundation, for their continued support in bringing this signature community event to life.

Note: Fireworks will not be displayed at Port Credit Memorial Park. City of Mississauga Enforcement and Peel Police will be on-site as private fireworks will be prohibited and by-laws enforced.

The Port Credit BIA recommends parking outside of the core of Port Credit to help reduce traffic congestion during and after the event.

🚶‍♀️ Visitors are encouraged to arrive early, walk, cycle, take transit, or park outside the event area and enjoy a short stroll into the festivities. Please note that parking will not be available along Lakeshore Road or within the road closure areas during Canada Day #INThePort.
