I've been working from home (WFH) for the last few years and thought I'd share some tips that keep me productive and sane ๐Ÿ˜…

๐Ÿ‘– Get dressed. Dress up as if you are going to a casual meeting, the act of getting ready helps set the right mental tone for the day.

๐Ÿฅ‘ Healthy snacks: unlike the office, you have full control over what snacks you keep close by, make it healthy..snap peas FTW!

๐Ÿ‹๏ธโ€โ™€๏ธ Exercise: figure out a way to incorporate some exercise in your routine, even setting aside 15 minutes to stretch will help. *share your home routine in the comments*

๐Ÿšถโ€โ™‚๏ธWalk and talk: for meetings that allow it, get a good set of head phones and go for a walk while listening in. This is one of my favourite parts of working from home!

๐Ÿง Stay focused: I use a few productivity apps, like SelfControl to keep me on track, essentially blocking off websites like reddit for 4 hour spurts.

๐Ÿ˜Ž Turn it off: this has to be most important.. you have to be able to create a separation of work and home or you risk turning your home into your permanent office. Carve out time for yourself and your loved ones where you don't look at anything work related and decompress for the day.
