Learn about the 2022 Streetsville Christmas in the Village event

The quaint and exciting village of Streetsville have released details on their 2022 Christmas in the Village event.

Happening on Friday, November 18th and Saturday, November 19th, this year they’ll kick off their tree lighting and opening ceremonies featuring Mr. and Mrs. Claus!
On the Friday evening, beginning 7:15 p.m. from Water St. and Queen St. S south the Village Square, there’ll be a brief road closure so families can line Queen St. S to welcome Mr. and Mrs. Claus to the soundtrack of the Streetsville Pipes and Drums and the Legion's Colour Party as they lead the countdown to the ever-popular tree lighting.

Friday’s excitement includes:

5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Ice slide with toboggans on Maiden Lane (Maiden Lane and Queen St. S)
5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Kids crafts and letters to Santa
5:00 pm- 6:45 pm and 8:00 pm-9:00 pm. Selfies with Santa. Santa's Village is sponsored by Atkinson Insurance
5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Holiday vendor market featuring over 25 local artisans curated by Hello Local and complimentary Maple Taffy provided by the Streetsville Legion Branch 139
6:00 -9: 00 p.m. live performance by Screeched Inn a Canadian Celtic rock group.
5:30-8:30 pm. Horse Drawn Carriage Rides presented by the Streetsville Lion's Club For Friday only the Horse and Carriage ride will load at Main St. S and Church St.

10:00 a.m - 9:00 p.m. Holiday vendor market featuring over 25 local artisans curated by Hello Localand from 11:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. complimentary Maple Taffy provided by the Streetsville Legion Branch 139
10:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. Free kids crafts and family activities from Tannery St. and Queen St. S south to Mill St. and Queen St. S
11:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. Live music in the Square. From 6:00 -9: 00 p.m we will feature Canada Roxx a premier Classic Rock tribute to the best of Canadian Rock.
Noon - 8:00 p.m. Holiday Express Train at Mill St. and Queen St. S. Sponsored by Telus
